Q1: How does the EAN-13 check digit work?

From the first 12 digits, odd positions (from the left) are summed as-is and even positions are multiplied by 3. The check digit makes the total a multiple of 10.

Q2: What if I enter 12 digits?

The tool calculates the 13th check digit and draws the full EAN-13.

Q3: What is Code 128?

A compact barcode that can store letters, numbers, and common symbols β€” useful when the value is not a 13-digit EAN.
